This is my Joe Hill appreciation post.
The man is amazing. I sat down and read 150 pages in a couple of hours.
For me, that’s amazingly fast. I usually take it at a slower pace, but this book is so wonderful. I have read it before! And I still got sucked into it.
There are so many details I had never noticed before.
It’s naughty. Dirty in a real gritty kind of way.
It’s a delicious read. Can you call a read delicious?
Well, I did. It’s juicy, too.
You do not have to be a fan of Stephen King to pick up Joe’s book.
Their styles are quite different, even though Joe does throw some little references to his dad here and there. Joe’s style of writing is so complex in a completely different way from Stephen.
Plus, Joe writes Locke and Key. This isn’t the first time I have said it, and it won’t be the last - Pick up Locke and Key! You won’t regret it!
And pick up Horns! Cause it’s good!
